Strong to severe storms continue through early evening

The Maine Forecast — Tracking Maine’s weather patterns

More storms continue to rumble through the area this evening with severe thunderstorm warnings cropping up periodically mostly over southern and central Maine.

A watch remains up for the western half of Maine and the image below shows areas in pink under the watch for another hour. This could be extended if conditions warrant.

The orange boxes are where there is severe weather as of 6:45PM, but those will change over the next hour so this is just to show you how things are progressing this evening.

This is likely the final line which could produce severe weather and after it moves through your area, things will be quite for the rest of the night.

The radar image below is as of 6:45. You can see some storms still back the west of Maine in New Hampshire. These will need to roll through the area in the next few hours.
